Walmart mobile pharmacy

In partnership with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, theWalmart, an American multinational, created a mobile pharmacy to serve all people affected by Hurricane Michael in 2018. This mobile unit is 17 meters long and can be up to 5 meters wide. A space that includes a waiting area and a private compartment for the provision of healthcare, such as immunizations or consultations. In this mobile unit, up to three thousand medical prescriptions are dispensed per week.
