Zeller Pharmacy: reflections of culture and tradition

In the bucolic city of Queluz, you will find Farmácia Zeller. A recently renovated space, overshadowed by reflections of culture and tradition, where a central set of hydraulic tile flooring breaks the monotony of the perimeter.

Here, natural light illuminates the space through the large windows facing the street, where a showcase made up of a small installation of several crosses invites passers-by to enter. In this space, a picturesque and familiar decor embraces users.

Zeller Pharmacy: between exposure and service

The Zeller Pharmacy project focused on two main aspects: the visual connection between the display area and the service rear. Thus, an accurate use of materials was made to create a welcoming environment, within a considerably extensive perimeter. Upon entering on the right side, we find a graphic panel – custom-made – where you can read the diploma of the pharmacy's first technical director – Dr. Joana Batista. An allusion to the family tradition of more than 70 years that makes Zeller Pharmacy a reference in the region.

In addition, the product display is held in a large, open-plan space, with white walls covered in linear. For a privileged and welcoming reception, service counters were placed at the end of the entire perimeter. At the entrance, a user communication system was installed that also allows users to be managed quickly and effectively. The name of the system is Digital Signage. A solution provided by Medd, for excellent pharmaceutical service.

The central pillar: the backbone of Zeller Pharmacy

The central pillar covered in wood is the backbone of the pharmacy and limits the central area. The floor graphics feature a cubic pattern that gives the space a traditional look. This is a reference to national tiles, in an attempt to synthesize the imagery of classic pharmacy, where personalized service is the main differentiator. Here, walnut wood was used to create a warm and inviting environment, where the display of products is made in a spiral to intentionally precede the service experience, provided by Zeller Pharmacy professionals. This is a flexible distribution of space that allows future changes oflayout!
